Cement-based joint sealant, with high elasticity, composed of high quality marble sand with selected granulometry, high content of synthetic resins and hydrophobic agents. Offers high resistance to moisture and abrasion. Suitable for filling joints from 2-15mm. Classified as a CG2 product according to the EN 13888 standard. Characterized by very good workability, very easy cleaning, very good adhesion, high resistance to sunlight and atmospheric agents, has the ability to preserve colors, resistant to corrosive agents, acids and various bases. Available in 26 colors.
ULTRAFUGA
ULTRAFUGA is used for grouting ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, mosaic tiles for exterior and interior environments. Recommended for sealing joints in environments with vibrations, in environments with central heating and terraces. Not recommended for filling joints with widths greater than the permitted one. In case of applications for areas exposed to high traffic or under the influence of chemicals, we recommend that the product be reinforced with FUGALASTIC deKoll.
The joints to be grouted must be clean, free of tile adhesive or mortar throughout the entire thickness. Application on wet substrates is not recommended.
Mix 1.2-1.6 liters of water with a 5 kg bag of powdered product in a clean container with an electric mixer until you achieve a homogeneous and lump-free mass. It should be noted that the mixed material for filling joints on the floor becomes more watery than for joints on the walls.
Application
Apply the product to the joints with a rubber spatula or with a trowel. After 20 minutes, when the product has become stable, clean the remaining part with a sponge in a transverse direction with the direction of the joints.
