DECOFIRE

Refractory mortar for environments where resistance to high temperatures is required. Composed of refractory cement, high quality quartz sand. Offers the following:

  • High adhesive strength
  • Fast hardening,
  • Mechanical resistance.
    It is classified as M25 mortar, according to EN 998-2.
For masonry construction and grouting all types of refractory bricks such as heating chimneys, wood-burning ovens, stoves, etc. The application is done with just one hand and the work is recommended to be done at temperatures from +5 to +35 °C.
The base before applying Dekofire must be clean without dust, oils, paints or residues that become an obstacle to the connection between the layers. Before application, the bricks must be wetted with water.

Mix 4.5-5.5 L of clean water with 25 kg of product, the resulting mass is recommended to be mixed with an electric mixer until a homogeneous mass is formed. The resulting mass is left to stand for 5 minutes and it is recommended to mix again before use. The application is mainly done with a trowel. The commissioning of the barbecue is recommended 7 days after the end of the application. The workability time is two hours. Consumption: About 18 kg/m2/cm layer thickness.

For very large tile formats, apply a double layer of glue, on the tile and the base. Resistant to temperatures from -30⁰ C to +70⁰ C. Protect the base for at least 24 hours after applying the adhesive from heavy rain, running water, as well as from frost and strong sunlight.
