Clean the surface of the support.

All types of cement-based substrates must be cleaned in advance before applying the product. The substrate may contain impurities such as; oils, dust, or various residues that negatively affect the adhesive strength of the product. Cleaning can be done mechanically. Before applying the product, the surface of the substrate must be sprayed with water so that the product creates the best adhesion and has the most optimal workability time.

Apply tile adhesive.

Initially, it is recommended to apply the product with the straight part of the trowel to achieve the most even distribution, and then with the notched part. The application is done with a suitable trowel depending on the type of tile being applied. NOTE! For tile formats larger than 900 cm² Apply a double coat of glue, on the tile and on the base. The tiles are laid by applying a slight pressure on the tile, ensuring that the entire surface of the tile is covered with the mortar. Consumption varies depending on the shrinkage of the screed and the type of base.

Filling joints

The joints to be filled must be clean, free of tile adhesive or mortar throughout the entire thickness. Application on wet substrates is not recommended. Mix the powder paint product in a clean container with an electric mixer until a homogeneous mass is achieved, free of grains. It should be taken into account that the mixed material for filling joints on the floor is more watery than for joints on the walls. Apply the product to the joints with a rubber spatula or with a trowel. After 20 minutes, when the product has become stable, the remaining part is cleaned with a sponge in a transverse direction to the direction of the joints.
