DekoRapid is a polymer-modified, cement-based tile adhesive with rapid setting. It offers high adhesive strength and moisture resistance. It is classified as a C2 FT type adhesive according to EN 12004.

Dekorapid is suitable for gluing various tiles on walls and floors, in outdoor and indoor environments. Ideal in cases where quick completion of works is required. Suitable for gluing ceramic tiles on cement-based supports, porcelain stoneware, marble and tiles with low absorption. For gluing on bases with a certain mobility such as balconies, terraces, bathrooms, for floors and walls in outdoor and indoor environments where there is the presence of moisture. For floors with high traffic such as schools and hospitals. Suitable for gluing tiles for medium and large formats.
Cement-based adhesive, composed of high-quality marble sand with selected granulometry, synthetic resins and special modified additives. The very high technology in granulometric distribution and the special ingredients give this product excellent characteristics in flexibility and workability, which makes this adhesive ideal for bonding marble tiles, natural stone, granite, mosaics, etc. (5-200 cm)
Mix 6.5-7 liters of clean water with 25 kg of DEKORAPID, mix the resulting mass with an electric mixer until a homogeneous mass without grains is formed. Leave it to rest for 5 minutes and then mix again before use. The workability time of the mixture is 60 minutes, the correction time 20 minutes under normal temperature conditions (23°C).
Cement-based substrates must be stable, resistant and regular, free of oils and paint residues and must have reached the maturity time in advance. Approximately traditional cement-based floors with normal hardening time must have a curing time of at least 28 days. Traditional plaster bases must dry for at least 14 days. Large unevenness or large cracks must be repaired in advance. All types of substrates must be cleaned in advance before applying the product mechanically.

Initially, it is recommended to apply the product with the straight part of the trowel to have a more uniform distribution and then with the notched part. The application is done with a suitable trowel depending on the type of tile being laid. The tiles are placed by exerting a slight pressure on the tile, ensuring that the tile is covered over the entire surface with the trowel. The opening time of the product under normal atmospheric conditions is 35 minutes for a temperature of 23°C. Atmospheric conditions may affect the drying time of the product. Care must be taken that the trowel does not form a film surface. Otherwise, it is necessary to pass the trowel over the trowel once more. The prepared product must be covered with tiles within 20 minutes in order to avoid the formation of a “skin”, i.e. before the adhesive layer begins to set.

Attention! For very large tile formats, apply a double layer of glue to the tile and the base. Protect the base for at least 24 hours after applying the adhesive, from driving rain as well as from frost and strong sunlight. For large tile formats, the grouting will be done 4-5 days after gluing only if waterproofing has been done.
