HYDROFIX FOUNDATION
Flexible and waterproofing protection for bathrooms, showers, balconies, basements, terraces, bathtubs and parking lots. Concrete surface protector. By mixing the two components, a mixture with high elastic properties is obtained and gives the product very good adhesion properties on all types of bases, after prior adjustment of the support (leveling).
Cement-based substrates must be stable, resistant and regular, free of oil, dirt and paint residues and must have reached the maturity period in advance. Approximately traditional cement-based floors with normal hardening time must have a curing time of at least 28 days, traditional plaster bases must dry for at least 14 days. Large unevenness or large cracks must be repaired in advance. All types of substrates must be cleaned in advance before applying the product mechanically.
Pour the liquid component B (10KG) into a clean container and while mixing add the dry component A (22KG). Mix with a mechanical mixer until a homogeneous mass is achieved and free of air bubbles for about 2 minutes. Leave to stand for 4 minutes and mix the product again before application.

Apply the product in two coats with a brush, roller or spatula, applying about 2mm for each coat. The second coat is applied after a period of 4-6 hours between each other and not before the first coat has dried. The product is used only by combining component A with component B and in the recommended quantity. Apply the product at temperatures from +5°C to +35°C. For positive pressures (Water pressure directly on the decorative coating) The application surface must be stable and clean. Remove concrete leaks, crumbling parts, dust and oils from the reinforcement, if necessary with water under pressure. For waterproofing in the case of old foundations, repair the foundation with special dekoll products.
Before applying Hidrofix Foundation, to improve adhesion to the base, it is necessary to apply an acrylic primer in water dispersion. The primer is diluted in a 1:1 ratio with water, applicable with a brush or roller. For negative pressures (Water pressure on the coating penetrated by the base) The application surface must be stable and clean. Remove concrete leaks, crumbling parts, dust and oils from the reinforcement, if necessary with water under pressure. Fill the base with special Dekoll products.
