STIROBOND
For bonding all types of tiles for thermal insulation systems for facade cladding and cladding on brick walls, plaster and concrete bases.
The base must be clean, free of dust, oils or residues that could hinder the bonding between the layers. The base is cleaned mechanically or manually. For unstable bases, it is necessary to install fixing wedges. The working time of the mixture is 2-3 hours, under normal temperature conditions (20° C).
Application
Mix with an electric mixer 6-6.5 liters of water with a 25 kg bag of Stirobond in a clean container, until a homogeneous and lump-free mass is achieved. Apply the product with a screed on the insulating board to a thickness of 30 mm, covering about 45% of the adhesive board using the ball and strip method. Before leveling the surface with a trowel, place the fixing pins depending on the board being laid, 5-6 pins/m2. The optimal working temperatures are from 50C to 350C. For subsequent coatings it is important that the base has reached the drying maturity of about 5-7 days, this depends on the atmospheric conditions.
