Cement-based tile adhesive (C), with normal adhesive strength (1) and slip resistance (T) and long working time (E). It is characterized by very good workability, good resistance to moisture, optimal correction time and uniform hardness. Classified as C1TE adhesive according to standard EN 12004.
VERTIKOLL C1TE
Suitable for bonding ceramic, porcelain, cement-based floor and wall tiles in exterior and interior environments. Suitable for bonding tiles with dimensions of 5-50 cm.
Mix 6-6.5 liters of clean water with 25 kg of Vertikoll, mix the resulting mass with an electric mixer until a homogeneous and lump-free mass is formed. Leave it to stand for 10 minutes and then mix again before use. The working time of the mixture is 2-3 hours.
All types of cement-based substrates must be cleaned in advance before applying the product. The substrate may contain impurities such as dust, oils or various residues that negatively affect the adhesive strength of the product. Cleaning can be done mechanically. Before applying the product, the surface of the substrate must be sprayed with water so that the product creates the best possible adhesion and has the most optimal workability time.
Application
Initially, the product is recommended to be applied with the straight part of the trowel to have a more uniform distribution and then with the notched part. The application is done with a suitable trowel depending on the type of tile being laid. The tiles are placed by exerting a slight pressure on the tile, ensuring that the tile is covered over the entire surface with the trowel. Consumption 3-5 kg/m² according to the dimensions of the trowel notches and the type of base.
