SILICONE GRAFIATO

Decorative silicone coating for exterior facade use. It is an ecologically tested product manufactured
based on HTT technology that allows for ventilation of the wall and prevention of mold. This product does not allow cracks and does not allow dirt to unite with it, so it is very easy to self-clean. GRAFIATO SILICONE is characterized by the following qualities:

  • Allows the wall to be vapor permeable.
  • Forms a stable structure.
  • Seals cracks in cement-lime based plasters.
  • It forms a beautiful and protective structure against atmospheric agents.
  • It is characterized by very good workability and openness.
  • It is characterized by a long working time (does not dry out).
  • Easy to apply product.
Suitable for creating decorative coatings with very good waterproofing, adhesive and elastic qualities. Used for creating decorative coatings on surfaces filled with cement mortar and thermal insulation base mortar.
The support where Grafiato Silicone will be applied must first be cleaned of dust as well as residues of oil, grease, varnish, wax and adhesive materials. Their cleaning is done manually. Before applying Grafiato Silicone, the support must be flattened and leveled with Ecoliner or Bondex, and then coated with Astar Grafiato. The supports must be flat and mechanically stable.

The product is mixed until a homogeneous and easily applicable mass is formed. Mixing can be done with an electric mixer with slow speeds. Care must be taken that the mixer is completely clean of residues of various pigments to avoid any changes in the formed product. The application of the product is carried out manually using a trowel, and is worked in a horizontal, vertical or circular direction depending on the aesthetic effect you want to achieve. Workability depends on the ambient temperature.

When applying the product, care should be taken to ensure that the ambient temperature is greater than 5⁰C and less than 35⁰C, and that facial contact with the product is avoided, as it is a product classified as irritating in contact with the face. Direct exposure to sun, rain, wind, and humidity affect the color and quality of the product.
