SUPPORT PREPARATION

Cement-based substrates must be stable, resistant and regular, free of oil, dirt and paint residues and must have reached the required curing time. Approximately traditional cement-based floors with normal hardening time must have a curing time of at least 28 days, traditional plaster bases must dry for at least 14 days. Large unevenness or large cracks must be repaired in advance. All types of substrates must be mechanically cleaned before applying the product. A 10 cm waterproofing strip must be placed in all corners between the wall and the floor, technical joints and drainage joints.

Caution! Do not mix any other product with DEKOLASTIK EKO and to apply the second coat you must ensure that the first coat is completely dry. Empty cans should not be used for drinking water. Do not apply on bituminous waterproofing. Avoid application on hot or windy days, on frosty and thawing substrates. Make sure that the substrate is completely dry to perform tiling or painting with elastic paint. During the summer period, it is recommended to use acrylic primer diluted 1 to 2 with water.
