Decoproof Advanced
Suitable for waterproofing foundations subject to positive and negative pressures, wastewater treatment tanks, external and internal waterproofing of swimming pools. Flexible and waterproofing protection for bathrooms, showers, balconies, basements, basement terraces, channels, manholes, etc. Applied with a brush or roller on both vertical and horizontal surfaces. It is not necessary to install a fiberglass reinforcing mesh.
Cement-based substrates must be stable, resistant and regular, free of oils, dirt and paint residues and must have reached the maturity period in advance. Approximately traditional cement-based floors with normal hardening time must have a curing time of at least 28 days, traditional plaster bases must dry for at least 14 days. Large unevenness or large cracks must be adjusted in advance. All types of substrates must be cleaned in advance before applying the product mechanically. In the case where the substrate is a tile, they must be sanded. When waterproofing vertical and horizontal joints, decoband must be applied in advance.
Pour component A powder 5 kg into the liquid component (5 kg). Mix with a mechanical mixer until a homogeneous mass is achieved, without grains and without air bubbles. The working time of the mixture is 2-3 hours.
Application
Apply the product in two or three layers with a brush, roller, applying about 2 mm for each coat. The second coat is applied after a period of 6-24 hours from each other and not before the first coat has dried. The same procedure should be followed for the third coat. The product is used only by combining component A with component B and in the recommended quantity. Apply the product at temperatures from +5°C to +35°C.

Do not mix any other product with DEKOPROOF ADVANCED and to apply the second coat you must ensure that the first coat is completely dry. Do not apply on bituminous waterproofing. Avoid application on hot or windy days, on frosty and thawing substrates. Make sure the substrate is completely dry to perform tiling or painting. Treated surfaces must be protected from rain, wind, frost and freezing, at least 24 hours after application. On open exterior surfaces, DEKOPROOF ADVANCED must be protected from UV rays with tiles.
